This morning, after students submitted their notebooks for their notebook check, I reminded students of upcoming events in SWS: SWS picnic on Tuesday 5/12 from 3-5 pm, SAB elections by advisory on Wednesday 5/13, and the Free Sports Physicals event on Wednesday 5/13 from 6-8 pm.
I also displayed our class's homework calendar on the projection screen and went through each remaining assignment, due date, and reminder.
We thoroughly went through the directions for the final essay (also posted online), and I answered many student questions regarding the assignment.
We then began watching Franco Zeffirelli's film version of Taming of the Shrew, which will help students develop their essay theses and arguments.
